Busy day indeed

Today was indeed a day packed with activities and more.

1) Had four periods in a row...Both breakfast and lunch were rushed. (But thank God, at least I could grab a bite, better than nothing.)
2) Went to a semi-ulu place for a meeting.
3) Found it a pleasure to be in town looking at some of the things I need for lesson...hmm...strange pleasure it is indeed when one runs short of time
4) Carried a super-heavy bag and trudged through the maddening crowd with people appearing *darker* before my eyes...throat was sore and very dry...but A was determined not to spend her Friday night simply like any other...AND she must keep her promise.
5) A was eventually rewarded with a night filled with lots of good fun and food :)

It's really very very simple fun. But we shared about lots of topics and reminisced about our memories of Glasgow and UK in general. What a nice place it is! Or is it cos' we were students back then? Hmm. Don't know. But this one thing I know, I treasure and will remember the good time we have, ending in stitches. For a moment, it's nice to know that life goes beyond students and beyond one's obligations (either self-imposed or socially constructed). For a moment, I appreciate being just me.
