Haven't done reviews for some time...(it's a mix actually):
1) Gotham Penthouse
- the hardware: supposed to be not too bad, with a cosy little function room
- crowd: dominated by one ethnic group
- music: aahhh...bad. very bad. Only danced to 1 song throughout the 4 hours I was there...
- drinks: not bad though temperance is needed :)
- verdict: won't go there again. Music dealt it the fatal blow.
2) The Holiday
- a romantic sweet comedy FOR THE SEASON...leaving one's baggage behind and moving on.
- I love the English cottage! and the winter :)
3) Happy Feet
- Penguins and more...haha. For an animated film, it's quite long. Children might be bored.
- But, the theme of ostracism is still quite thought-provoking and moving. But the plot might be taken too far- the part about the search for the aliens. Feel being criticised in the end though...
4) Still not satisfied with the films watched this holidays. Hope to encounter a nice one in the new year :)
